Our Art Classes and Workshops are the perfect way to explore a specific art medium or theme without making a long-term commitment. Artists can to try out an art class or build on their current skills in a safe and creative environment. Our mini sessions and PD day offerings are ideal for those with busy schedules. Join us for a fun and creative experience that will leave you feeling inspired.

Children's

Art Classes

Mud Puddles Art Studio offers weekly art class options for children from JK- grade 6. Children explore watercolours, acrylics, pencil, clay, paper mache, and more. They make new friends while learning new skills and exploring their creativity.

These classes are part of our "Mud Puddles Membership Program". Our membership classes run from September-June to allow us to dive more deeply into our art curriculum. This is our most popular format of classes and space is very limited!

Summer

Art Classes

Summer is the perfect time to explore your creativity in a fun and creative space! We will draw, paint, and sculpt while making new friends and learning new skills. All projects can be adapted to meet different levels of art experience, so they are a perfect pick for all children. Our summer classes will taught by Jennifer and/ or Grace Eagle. Both teachers are registered with the Ontario College of Teachers.

Cost $155/ week includes all art supplies and a small snack

Flowers

PD Day Workshop

Join us for a fun art workshop on the next PD Day! We will learn how to draw an arrangement of flowers and add vibrant colours using watercolour pencil crayons. This cool medium lets you layer colours with the pencil crayons and then add water to blend them together.

Cost includes all art supplies and a small snack.

Homeschool

Art Classes

Get ready to create! Our homeschool art classes provide a fun and welcoming environment for budding artists to learn new skills and explore their creativity. We will work with a variety of different mediums including watercolours, acrylics, pencil, and marker. This class is perfect for all skill levels as the projects can be adapted as needed. Our theme for this session will be "Ocean Adventures". We will create boats, fish, and other sea creatures using a variety of mediums.

Cost includes all art supplies.

Middle School

Art Classes

Our art classes for middle school students (grades 6-8) provide a fun and welcoming environment for our older artists to learn new skills and explore their creativity. We will work with a variety of different mediums including watercolours, acrylics, pencil, collage, and marker. Each artist is encouraged to add their own personality to their masterpieces. This class is perfect for all skill levels as the projects can be adapted as needed.

Please note that Mud Puddles Art Studio is a "screen-free" space. Cell phones will be left outside the studio at all times. We focus on creative fun and building positive social connections.
